A Canandaigua man was transported to the hospital following a rollover crash Saturday afternoon on County Road 32 in Canandaigua.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene of the crash at approximately 3:15 p.m. Their investigation revealed that the driver, 40-year-old Jeremy R. Zinter, was using a mobile device while operating the vehicle. Deputies also discovered that Zinter was driving without a valid license at the time of the incident.
Zinter sustained minor injuries and was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment. He was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle without a license and using a mobile device while driving, in violation of New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Authorities remind drivers of the importance of avoiding distractions and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements while operating a vehicle.
Zinter is scheduled to address the charges in court at a later date.
