The New York State Thruway Authority will hold a public information session Thursday on plans to replace the Route 90 bridge over the Thruway in Cayuga County, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The session is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Montezuma Fire Department, 8115 High St.
The bridge was built in 1952 and has reached the end of its service life, the authority said.
About 2,000 motorists use it each day, and the replacement is intended to improve safety and meet current standards.
Information boards will be displayed and authority representatives will answer questions, with construction expected to begin in spring 2027.
