A Dundee woman was taken to the hospital after a vehicle went off the road and into a ditch in the town of Milo, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Eva M. Stimmerman, 35, was driving south on Route 54 around 11:10 a.m. Sept. 16 when she made an improper turn onto Sisson Road. The vehicle struck a sign before entering a ditch on the south side of the road.
Stimmerman was taken by Penn Yan Ambulance to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital for evaluation. The extent of any injuries was not disclosed.
Deputies charged Stimmerman with operating out of class and making an improper turn.
Penn Yan Ambulance and the Penn Yan Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.
