ORANGE GAME DAY: Syracuse football looks for fourth straight win at home against Duke (preview)

Syracuse football will try to extend its win streak to four games when it hosts Duke on Saturday at noon inside the sold-out JMA Wireless Dome, with the game broadcast on ACC Network.

Both teams enter Week 5 on the heels of impressive ACC-opening victories. Syracuse improved to 3-1 overall by upsetting Clemson 34-21 at Death Valley, while Duke evened its record at 2-2 with a 45-33 win over NC State.

The Orange will turn to LSU transfer Rickie Collins at quarterback following Steve Angeli’s season-ending Achilles injury, while Blue Devils signal-caller Darian Mensah continues to rank among the nation’s passing leaders.

This matchup marks the latest chapter in a series that has been tightly contested in recent years. Duke has won the past two meetings, but Syracuse still holds the edge in the all-time series, 4-3.

A victory would give the Orange their first four-game win streak under head coach Fran Brown and push them to 9-1 at home over the past two seasons.
