A Seneca Falls man who was arrested multiple times in 2024 is facing new charges after a domestic incident.
Brandon Carlson, 39, of Seneca Falls, was charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation, and criminal obstruction of breathing, an A misdemeanor.
Authorities say the charges stem from an incident in which Carlson allegedly struck the victim and obstructed her breathing.
In October 2024, Carlson was indicted on charges related to killing a dog in Cayuga County, then making it appear as though the dog was killed in traffic. In that incident, he was charged with tampering with physical evidence and aggravated cruelty to animals. Just a few months earlier in May, Carlson was arrested on several charges after a high-speed chase. He was also arrested twice in late-2023 for menacing and stalking for incidents that happened during that timeframe.
Carlson was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. He is scheduled to answer the new charges at a later date.
