Police arrested a Canandaigua man March 6 after a traffic stop on South Main Street.
Shaun P. Donahue, 33, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and inadequate tail lamp.
Officers stopped the vehicle for an equipment violation and determined Donahue was intoxicated while operating the vehicle, according to police.
Authorities said Donahue was on probation at the time of the arrest.
Police also reported that Donahue has two prior DWI convictions within the last 10 years. A separate DWI arrest from Feb. 9, 2025, in the Town of Hopewell remains unresolved.
