Police arrested a Geneva man March 6 following a reported domestic incident on Castle Street.
Edwin Vazquez, 70, was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Officers responded to the location for a reported crime in progress.
Police said Vazquez allegedly choked another person and caused physical injury during the incident.
