Casey Park Pool in Auburn will open for five additional days this summer through a partnership between the city and the Auburn YMCA.
The added operating dates are Wednesday, July 29; Thursday, July 30; Wednesday, Aug. 5; Thursday, Aug. 6; and Friday, Aug. 7, according to the YMCA.
The Auburn YMCA said it will provide certified lifeguards at no charge for the additional days.
YMCA CEO Scott Sincerbeaux said the expanded schedule will give more families and individuals access to the community pool. The organization credited the Auburn City Council, City Manager Jenny Haines and Mayor Jimmy Giannettino for supporting the partnership.
