Two Seneca Falls residents charged after child injured, police say

Two Seneca Falls residents were arrested after police said a child in their home suffered an injury that required medical treatment.

The Seneca Falls Police Department said Dustin Leonard, 27, and Natosha Leonard, 26, were arrested June 18 at about 3 p.m.

Both were charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of third-degree assault, according to police.

Investigators accused the pair of failing to adequately supervise one child who lives in the home, resulting in the injury. Police also said they failed to provide safe living conditions for other children living there.

The two were taken into custody and transported to centralized arraignment court.
