A man from Palmyra ended up hospitalized after a stabbing in Rochester, according to RochesterFirst.
Police responded Wednesday evening to a report of a stabbing at a Sunoco on Lyell Avenue, where officers found a 44-year-old Palmyra resident suffering multiple stab wounds. Investigators later confirmed the attack did not happen at the gas station.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. He did not tell officers where the stabbing occurred.
Rochester Police Department continues to search for a suspect as the investigation remains active.
