Deputies arrested a man after investigating a stolen credit card in the Town of Starkey.
Edison Maisonave-Coto is accused of stealing the card from a Yates County resident, then using it to buy merchandise in the Village of Penn Yan, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
The alleged theft happened at 121 Williams Street in Geneva. Investigators from YCSO and the Geneva Police Department worked the case.
Maisonave-Coto faces two E-felony charges: grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property. He was released with an appearance ticket and is expected back in Starkey Town Court at a later date.
