The Smith Center for the Arts in Geneva has received $53,000 in grants to boost operations and improve accessibility, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
A $40,000 grant from the Farash Foundation will support general operations, while $13,000 from the Wyckoff Family Foundation will fund new balcony handrails at the historic Smith Opera House.
Leaders say the funding comes at a critical time for arts sustainability.
