A Wayne County teenager faces charges after an alleged assault on school grounds in Ontario, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Zachary Petrotta, 18, was arrested following an investigation into a reported physical altercation involving a juvenile victim. Authorities allege that Petrotta, accompanied by others, followed the juvenile across a school parking lot before surrounding and preventing him from leaving.
The confrontation reportedly escalated, with Petrotta allegedly holding the victim by the neck and pinning him to the ground while another person kicked the victim in the face, causing injury.
Petrotta was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
