Voters in the Union Springs Central School District said ‘yes’ to a pair of propositions on Tuesday.
A capital improvement project was approved by a vote of 241-43, while a capital reserve fund was approved by 244-40. Both propositions received over 85% support.
The capital project won’t increase taxes due to use of reserve and state funds.
Both of the district’s schools will receive safety and security improvements through the capital project.
