Investigators found 40 opened cans of wet cat food filled with rat poison pellets at Pleasant View Mobile Home Park. Animal control officials believe someone intentionally placed the contaminated food throughout the property.

Officials urge residents to keep pets indoors, watch for signs of poisoning, and seek immediate veterinary care if they suspect exposure. The investigation remains active as crews search for any remaining poisoned cans.
