A Lyons man was charged after deputies said he violated a full stay-away order of protection connected to an incident earlier this month.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said William M. Turner, 30, of William Street, was arrested at about 3 p.m. June 26 at the Wayne County Jail, where he was being held on unrelated charges.
Deputies said the arrest stemmed from a June 10 incident at 96 William St. in the town of Lyons. Investigators determined Turner had violated a full stay-away order of protection issued in 2023, according to the sheriff's office.
Turner was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.
He was held to await CAP Court, deputies said.
