A Lyons man was arrested after deputies said he spit at a victim, damaged a vehicle's stereo screen and endangered a child during a domestic incident.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Tony M. Pierre, 22, of Shuler Street in Lyons, was charged after an investigation into a domestic altercation that deputies said happened June 24 on Broad Street.
Deputies alleged Pierre spit in the victim's face while the victim was operating a motor vehicle, then punched a stereo screen, leaving the system inoperable. Deputies said a 4-year-old child was present in the vehicle at the time.
Pierre was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment and is scheduled to answer the charges in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
