A new event venue overlooking Seneca Lake is preparing to open its doors this summer, adding another upscale destination to the region’s growing hospitality and tourism landscape.
FLX Retreats announced plans to launch The Seneca Lake Treehouse Lodge in July, positioning the space as a modern-rustic venue for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings.
The lodge will be located on the company’s existing treehouse property, offering wooded lake views and a design centered on natural timber construction with a mix of indoor and outdoor event space. Officials say the layout is intended to accommodate both small, intimate gatherings and larger celebrations with flexible configurations.
The new venue expands on FLX Retreats’ existing accommodations, which include elevated luxury treehouses featuring private decks, hot tubs, and lake views. The proximity between lodging and event space is designed to allow for multi-day events, where guests can stay on-site and take advantage of the surrounding property.
Situated along the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, the lodge also provides access to nearby wineries and restaurants, a factor expected to appeal to both local couples and visitors traveling to the Finger Lakes for destination events.
Event inquiries and tours for the new venue are now being accepted ahead of the summer opening.
