A domestic dispute investigation in Waterloo resulted in misdemeanor charges against a local man, according to police.
Justin M. Gardner, 35, of Waterloo, was arrested June 11 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and first-degree harassment. Police said the charges stem from incidents on June 9 and June 10 during which Gardner damaged property belonging to the victim and engaged in a course of conduct that caused the victim to fear for their safety.
Authorities said Gardner was taken into custody at approximately 1:01 a.m. Thursday and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
Police also requested an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
