Buffalo man charged in Eastview Mall theft investigation

An investigation into a theft at Eastview Mall has resulted in a grand larceny charge against an 18-year-old Buffalo man, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Curtis Clemons Jr., of Buffalo, was arrested June 10 and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny following an investigation into a reported theft at the Lululemon store in the Town of Victor. Investigators allege Clemons and a female accomplice entered the store on May 13 and stole $2,366 worth of merchandise.

Authorities said Clemons was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date. The charge is a felony under New York law.

The investigation remains active as sheriff’s investigators continue working to identify the female suspect allegedly involved in the theft. The case is being handled by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division.
