Gov. Kathy Hochul announced expanded services at 11 campuses to better support students balancing school and family. Some colleges will extend evening hours, while others will add more spots for infants and toddlers.

The expansion ties to the SUNY Reconnect program, which offers free tuition and supplies for adults ages 25 to 55 pursuing associate degrees in high-demand fields. Officials say the added care aims to help more parents complete their education.
