A driver faces intoxicated driving charges following a traffic stop in the Village of Palmyra.
Deputies arrested a 22-year-old Palmyra man after an investigation into traffic violations.
Authorities said the driver failed to stop at a steady red light and did not use a turn signal while making a right turn at an intersection.
Deputies determined the driver was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
A chemical test later showed a blood alcohol content of 0.09%, according to the sheriff’s office.
The driver was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and released with traffic citations. He is scheduled to appear in Village of Palmyra Court at a later date.
