A Chick-fil-A is one step closer to landing in Auburn after the city approved a land sale, according to The Citizen .
City Council voted to sell a half-acre lot on Grant Avenue for $20,000. The chain plans to combine it with a nearby vacant medical property to build a restaurant.
The company hasn’t filed final plans yet, but the project fits into a broader expansion across upstate New York. New locations could open between 2026 and 2029. Planning board approval will be the next key step.
