Deputies arrested a man after responding to a domestic incident in the Town of Ontario.
Jeffrey S. Vandelinder, 47, faces charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say Vandelinder got into a physical altercation with the victim at a South Slocum Road residence. He allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat, obstructing her breathing during the fight.
Deputies took him into custody and transported him to the Wayne County Jail. He was held pending his appearance in CAP court on Sept. 29.
