Cayuga County man initially left scene of domestic after menacing victim, later taken into custody

A 29-year-old man from Locke has been charged following a domestic incident on January 4. Kyle T. Purdy was arrested after deputies responded to reports of multiple people fighting on Liberty Drive around 9:33 p.m., according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.

Authorities alleged that Purdy restrained a victim and applied pressure with his thumb near the victim’s eye. After leaving the scene, he sought medical treatment at Auburn Community Hospital before being taken into custody.
