When will the checks go out?
Not everyone will receive the checks at the same time. They go out according to your birthday. Read more about it here.
Social Security checks are distributed every second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
If your birthday is between the first and tenth day of the month, you can expect your check on the second Wednesday of the month. If your birthday falls between the 11th and 20th, it will be sent out on the third Wednesday. People with birthdays that are between the 21st and 31st will get their check on the fourth Wednesday.
In April, payments will be distributed the 13th, 20th, and 27th. During May checks will go out the 11th, 18th, and 25th.
The checks are being sent out to reflect the updated COLA and inflation.
