A Moravia woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a domestic incident in the Town of Locke, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 41-year-old Kattie J. Corey on June 29 at approximately 9:24 p.m. She faces charges of DWI – First Offense, Aggravated DWI – Per Se, and other traffic infractions. Her arrest followed an investigation into a reported domestic dispute involving both parties in vehicles.
Authorities determined Corey had been driving while intoxicated. She was taken to the Cayuga County Public Safety Building, where she provided a breath sample indicating a blood alcohol content of .19%. Corey was released with traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Locke Town Court on July 16 at 7 p.m.
