A 70-year-old Marietta man drowned Monday in Otisco Lake after falling from his pontoon boat, according to New York State Police.
Paul Bernet was last seen around 1:30 p.m. on July 7 before entering the water and failing to resurface. His body was recovered by the State Police Underwater Recovery Team and Drone Unit following a coordinated search.
Multiple local agencies assisted in the recovery. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
