A driver was charged with DWI after an officer reported seeing his vehicle doing burnouts on the Canandaigua City Pier.
Lonnie Smith, 59, of Omaha, was arrested Sept. 19 at about 7:36 p.m., according to an Oct. 5 Canandaigua Police Department blotter.
Police said Smith showed signs of intoxication after the officer stopped him.
The department did not report a crash or an injury.
Smith was released to a third party with an appearance ticket for Canandaigua City Court at a later date, police said.
