A Canandaigua man was issued a dog-at-large summons after police said his unleashed dog bit another dog.
Kenny Ledgerwood, 56, received the summons Sept. 21 at about 10:48 a.m., according to an Oct. 5 Canandaigua Police Department blotter.
Police alleged Ledgerwood allowed his dog to roam without a leash before the bite.
The department did not provide the location or report the injured dog's condition.
Ledgerwood is due in Canandaigua City Court at a later date, police said.
