A Canandaigua woman was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny after police said she took another person's purse on Parrish Street.
Felicia Bedford, 37, was arrested Sept. 24 at about 1:44 a.m., according to an Oct. 5 Canandaigua Police Department blotter.
Police said the purse contained cash and credit cards and was later discarded in a dumpster outside Bedford's home.
The department did not give the value of the missing property or say whether it was recovered.
Bedford was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment, police said.
