Geneva police reported four recent arrests stemming from a traffic stop and separate complaints involving an alleged order-of-protection violation, property damage and domestic assault.
The arrests occurred Sept. 11 and Sept. 13, according to a department blotter released Thursday.
Abelardo Mora-Mozqueda, 31, of North Rose, was charged with driving while intoxicated, having alcohol or cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway and failing to dim headlights.
Police said officers stopped Mora-Mozqueda on North Exchange Street after he allegedly failed to dim his headlights. His blood alcohol content was later measured at 0.13%, and officers found an open alcohol container in the vehicle, according to the department.
Christian Rodriguez-Tirado, 40, of Geneva, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after allegedly contacting a person protected by a stay-away order during a domestic incident on Exchange Street. He was taken to centralized arraignment and released without bail.
Shanell M. Eldridge, 35, of Geneva, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police said Eldridge was heavily intoxicated when she allegedly damaged a window at a private residence on Middle Street. She was taken to centralized arraignment and released without bail.
Kyle S. Armstrong, 33, of Geneva, was charged with third-degree assault following a domestic incident on Washington Street. Police alleged Armstrong intentionally injured his partner. A stay-away order was issued before he was released without bail.
The charges are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
