Geneva man accused of violating stay-away order after domestic incident

A Geneva man was charged with criminal contempt following a domestic incident on Exchange Street, according to the Geneva Police Department.

Police said Christian Rodriguez-Tirado, 40, was arrested Sept. 11 after he allegedly contacted a person protected by a stay-away order of protection.

Rodriguez-Tirado was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

He was taken to centralized arraignment court and released without bail to answer the charge at a later date.
