Geneva traffic stop leads to DWI charge, police say

Geneva traffic stop leads to DWI charge, police say

A North Rose man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on North Exchange Street in Geneva, according to the Geneva Police Department.

Police said Abelardo Mora-Mozqueda, 31, was stopped Sept. 13 for allegedly failing to dim his headlights and was later determined to have a blood alcohol content of 0.13%.

Officers also reported finding an open alcohol container inside the vehicle.

Mora-Mozqueda was charged with DWI, possessing alcohol or cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway and failing to dim headlights.
