A Canandaigua woman was charged with assault after police investigated a disturbance at a Lakeshore Drive business.
Police arrested Hailey M. Siesto, 20, at 9:43 p.m. July 4 and charged her with third-degree assault. Investigators said she had been involved in a physical altercation with another person.
The victim suffered several injuries to a hand and reported severe head pain, according to police.
Siesto was located a short time after the incident and taken into custody. She was later transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
