A Lyons man was arrested July 8 after Waterloo police said he was wanted in connection with a June incident involving threatening electronic messages.
Police said Michael Tobin, 34, was taken into custody at about 11:20 a.m. on an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree aggravated harassment.
The Waterloo Police Department said the arrest stems from an incident reported June 8. Police alleged Tobin sent electronic messages that were threatening in nature.
Tobin was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Police said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
