Canandaigua woman charged with felony DWI after traffic stop

A Canandaigua woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated after police said she failed to obey a traffic control device on North Main Street.

Police stopped Heather M. Meyer, 34, at 9:22 p.m. June 27 and said she showed signs of intoxication. Investigators also determined her driver’s license had been revoked.

Meyer was additionally charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device. Police said the interlock requirement stemmed from a previous DWI arrest.

She was processed and released to a third party on an appearance ticket. Meyer is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
