Canandaigua's new Route 364 trailway and footbridge is officially open, adding a safer connection to Finger Lakes Community College, CMAC and the city of Canandaigua, according to state Senator Pamela Helming's office. Helming said she joined leaders from Ontario County, the state Department of Transportation and the Sands Family Foundation for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the project.
The project is intended to provide safer and more accessible connections among the college, the concert venue and the city, according to Helming's July newsletter.
Helming's office did not provide a project cost or construction timeline in the newsletter.
The update was included in Helming's July 12 monthly newsletter, which highlighted several district visits and local meetings.
Helming said regular conversations with county partners help ensure local priorities have a voice in Albany.
