Former Keuka guard Lamar Lovelace signs with Irish Super League club

Former Keuka College guard Lamar Lovelace has signed a professional contract with Flexachem KCYMS Killorglin Basketball Club in Ireland's Super League.

Keuka College announced the signing July 9, capping a standout season in which Lovelace set single-season scoring records for both Keuka and the Empire 8.


Lovelace scored 636 points in his lone season with the Wolves. He also set Keuka program records for field goals and free throws made in a season and finished fourth all-time in three-pointers made.

Keuka head coach Tom Wilk said Lovelace's work ethic, commitment and leadership left a lasting impact on the program.

"We are incredibly proud of Lamar for earning this opportunity to play professionally overseas," Wilk said. "Lamar's work ethic, commitment, and leadership have a made a lasting impact on our program and this next opportunity is a testament to his hard work."

Lovelace was named Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player, First Team All-Conference and to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team after the 2025-26 season.

He also earned First Team All-Region honors from D3hoops.com and the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, along with Second Team All-Region recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

The Men's Super League is the highest level of men's basketball in Ireland. The FIBA-recognized league has 13 teams, including 12 in the Republic of Ireland and one in Northern Ireland.

Flexachem KCYMS Killorglin Basketball Club was founded in 1999 and joined the Super League before the 2021-22 season. The club went 7-15 last season, finished 11th in the league standings and reached the quarterfinals of the Cup Playoffs.
