Multiple emergency agencies responded Friday to a reported school bus crash in Cayuga County near the intersection of Conquest Road and Sperry Road.
According to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, Port Byron Rescue, Jordan Ambulance, CIMA VAC, Auburn City Ambulance and Throop Ambulance were dispatched to the scene for a motor vehicle accident involving a school bus.
Updates from the scene indicated several ambulances and emergency command units responded, including crews from Throop and CIMA VAC. Port Byron firefighters also responded with a brush truck.
Fire Wire later reported that one patient was transported by Throop Ambulance, while all other responding ambulances were cleared from the scene.
Officials have not released information about how the crash occurred, whether students were on the bus at the time, or the extent of injuries involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
