Drivers in Seneca Falls will need to plan for detours beginning Monday as the Bridge Street Bridge closes for repairs.
The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department announced the bridge will close starting May 18 for what officials described as maintenance and repair work.
Police said the closure is expected to last for an undetermined amount of time.
Motorists are being urged to follow posted detour routes and allow extra travel time while the bridge remains closed.
Officials did not provide additional details about the specific repairs being performed or when the bridge is expected to reopen.
