Auburn Police seek help locating missing man last seen in March

The Auburn Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who hasn’t been seen by his family in several months.

Jason Christopherson, 31, was last in contact with his employer on March 16, 2025, when he said he would be “going away,” but he never returned to work. On April 4, his black Ford Escape—bearing New York registration JKV7135—was spotted on camera in Chicago, Illinois. He has not been heard from since.

Police say Christopherson is not believed to be the victim of foul play and is thought to have left of his own accord. However, his family remains concerned for his well-being.

Christopherson is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds. His last known address was at 16 Wheeler Street, Apartment 16, in the City of Auburn.

The Auburn Police Department stressed that while Jason may not wish to be found, his family simply wants to ensure he is safe. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Atkins at 315-255-4703.
