An 18-year-old woman from Pittsford was arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from a department store at Eastview Mall, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Kathleen Mary Casey was taken into custody in the early morning hours of May 22 and charged with petit larceny. The arrest followed an investigation into a theft at the Von Maur store located at 300 Eastview Mall Drive.
According to deputies, Casey and a juvenile accomplice stole $171 worth of merchandise from the store on May 21. Following the investigation, Deputy Fischer arrested Casey at approximately 3:16 a.m.
Casey was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to face the charge.
