Gov. Kathy Hochul and her husband pulled in over $1.86 million last year, according to NY1, marking a sharp jump from 2024. Most of that came from William Hochul’s $1.3 million law firm salary, while the governor earned $250,000.
The couple paid about $775,000 in combined federal, state, and city taxes and gave more than $78,000 to charities. They listed Buffalo as their home but spent the full year in New York City.
They also hold investments abroad and in a family trust. Meanwhile, Republican challenger Bruce Blakeman has not yet released his tax returns but says he plans to.
