The Cayuga County Health Department is hiring a Senior Public Health Sanitarian to join its environmental health team, offering a starting salary over $69,000.
Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 30 credit hours in natural sciences, with no more than 12 credits in applied sciences. Alternatively, candidates with five years of experience as a Public Health Technician—along with completion of a New York State Department of Health approved training course—and two years of experience as a Public Health Sanitarian are also eligible.
The position includes a 35-hour work week, 14 paid holidays, a New York State pension plan, vacation time upon hire, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
