Ithaca Reggae Fest returns in a bigger way this summer with a full three-day celebration at Stewart Park, according to 14850 Magazine. Kicking off June 20 with a free Friday block party, the event mixes music with activism, featuring voter registration and performances from artists like R.D.F. and Ononkwa-Medicine.
Saturday brings a sunrise yoga session and cultural celebration before a stacked music lineup including Kabaka Pyramid and local favorite the Gunpoets. On Sunday, the vibe continues with family-friendly activities and live acts like Steel Pulse and Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad.
Early bird tickets start at $30 per day or $50 for the weekend until April 21. Admission is free for kids under 16 with a parent.
