A driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries after her car went off-road and struck a tree in the Village of Newark on Saturday night, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Wood Lane at approximately 9:22 p.m., when Stephanie M. Cintron, 34, of Orchard Park in the Town of Phelps, lost control of her vehicle.
Cintron, the sole occupant, was transported by ambulance to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital for treatment. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Local deputies received assistance from the Newark Police Department, Newark Fire Department, and Wayne County EMS at the scene.
Officials have not yet provided further details regarding the cause of the accident.
