Two Lyons men charged with trespass after being found in Central Park after dark

Two Lyons men were charged with trespass after deputies said they were found inside Central Park after it had closed for the night.

Christopher J. Burke, 23, of Queen Street, and Reginald S. Wynn, 68, of Phelps Street, were arrested following the Sept. 16 incident, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies allege both men knowingly remained in the park after dark despite previously being advised that the park closes at dark and being told to leave the property.

Both were charged with trespass and issued appearance tickets.

Burke and Wynn are scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6.
