Two people were charged after deputies said a physical altercation on North Joy Street in Lyons involved both individuals displaying weapons.
Larry D. Weems, 63, of East Miller Street in Newark, and Jrakkar T. White, 18, of Leach Road in Lyons, were arrested following an investigation into the Sept. 17 disturbance, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies allege Weems and White became involved in a physical altercation during which both displayed a weapon.
Both were charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct.
They were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6.
