A “Drive Yourself” summer farm tour on August 22 will showcase three Seneca County agricultural operations, highlighting sustainable farming practices.
Organized by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County and other local agencies, the tour will begin at 3 p.m. and feature stops at Sweetness of Life Farm, Sweet Land Farm, and Hosmer Estate Winery in Ovid. Topics include water-quality measures, soil health, rotational grazing, and integrated pest management.
Participants must register by August 19. The tour will conclude with a $10 dinner from Silo Food Truck at 6:30 p.m. Attendees should prepare for moderate walking and bring a chair for comfort. Registration is available online or by calling 315-539-9251.
